Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Appify handles information in DadReady.

Information and purposes

DadReady works without an account. Family profile details, pregnancy or baby stage, care contacts, emergency details, preferences, task state, care logs, journal notes, and journal photos selected by the user are stored in the app's local device area. DadReady does not upload this information to an Appify server. The app reads available calendar names so the user can choose a destination and writes only events the user explicitly exports; it does not import existing calendar events. Printing, file export, system sharing, and photo selection happen only after a user action. The current analytics helper does not transmit events, and the app includes no advertising or crash-reporting SDK.

Third-party services

• Apple platform services: iOS application distribution and user-directed access to device photo, calendar, printing, file, and sharing features.
• Google platform services: Android application distribution and user-directed access to device calendar, file, and sharing features.
• Firebase Hosting: Hosting this landing page, privacy policy, contact page, and terms page; it is not used to store DadReady family or care data.

Retention

DadReady's local data remains on the device until the user changes or clears it, removes the app, or the operating system clears the app's storage. On Android, automatic app-data backup is disabled. iOS device and backup behavior remains controlled by Apple and the user's device settings. Calendar events, printed documents, shared files, and other exported copies are retained by the selected destination under its own settings and policies.

Deletion and choices

The user can choose Clear all data in DadReady Settings to remove the app's key-value records, care database rows, and app-owned journal photo copies. If any deletion step fails, the app reports that removal was incomplete. Uninstalling the app removes its local application data subject to operating-system behavior. Calendar events, files, prints, or messages previously exported outside DadReady must be deleted from their destination separately. Privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].

Children

DadReady is intended for expectant and new fathers and other adult caregivers, not for use by children. An adult may enter baby-related care information, but the current app keeps that information in local device storage and does not upload it to an Appify account or server.
