Walking Pad Workout: PadCoach
Why PadCoach
Your goal, current fitness, machine top speed, handrail, and emergency-stop setup shape the plan before you begin.
Choose today's available time, or optionally match the workout to the exact length of a podcast, video, audiobook, or other content.
Review each session, then see weekly and monthly minutes, consistency, pace, distance, and other available workout trends.
What it includes
Create a walking pad session for focus, energy, gentle intervals, recovery, or another supported goal using progressive pace blocks.
Enter or select a content duration and PadCoach reshapes the workout to finish with it. The app plans the walk; it does not host or play the content.
Plans account for the machine and safety setup, keep a permanent margin below the declared maximum, and use safer defaults when details are missing.
Spoken cues announce pace-block changes and posture reminders so you can keep your attention on walking instead of watching the screen.
On compatible Bluetooth FTMS walking pads, connect and adjust supported speed controls from PadCoach while the safety rules remain active.
When a supported watch is available, glance at the active block and use available session controls from your wrist; related settings stay hidden when no accessory is detected.
Fits real routines
Choose the minutes you have and get a complete warm-up, working block, recovery, and cool-down structure.
Use the remaining duration of your chosen content so the workout and episode can finish together without turning PadCoach into a player.
Use completed sessions and difficulty feedback to keep future programs appropriate for your current level.
Questions
PadCoach creates structured walking pad workouts around your goal, fitness level, machine limits, and today's time. It guides the session with pace blocks and audio cues, then summarizes your results.
No. PadCoach is not a media player. Content-duration matching only uses a duration you provide or select so the workout can end at the same time as your content.
It can connect to supported Bluetooth FTMS devices and expose only the controls the device reports as available. Compatibility varies by manufacturer and model, and manual use remains available.
The plan stays at least ten percent below the maximum speed configured for the machine and may use a larger safety margin based on fitness level, handrail availability, emergency-stop setup, or missing device details.
The planned US launch prices are $4.99 monthly or $19.99 annually. The annual option includes a seven-day free trial; the monthly option has no trial. The store shows the final localized price and eligibility before purchase.
Yes. When new-customer pricing later changes to $6.99 monthly and $29.99 annually, continuously active launch subscribers remain on their original launch product and recurring price, subject to Apple and Google billing rules. A lapsed subscription may return at the current price.
